My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this farm in Brazil and meeting the owner, Amelia. The farm has been in her family for generations and her passion and pride for growing and producing high-quality coffee shines through in every cup. This is such a beautiful area, and the highlight of our trip was enjoying a cup of coffee with Amelia, her father, and friends, overlooking her beautiful farm and drying patios. She is one of few women farmers in the area and works tirelessly to ensure the quality of her coffee plants and production processes. One interesting fact about her farm is she has banana trees planted in between the coffee rows to help keep the soil fertile and supporting quality coffee naturally.
